In order to register a domain name the first thing you must do is to search to see if the domain name is already registered.
Simply enter the domain you wish to register in the box provided and click GO.
You will then be taken to FastVision for the domain name registration process.
Everything on the internet uses IP address's to locate servers where websites are located and these are formed by numbers seperated by dots.
These are not human friendly and this is why domain names are used. These are readable versions of a website address which allow us to understand what the website is that we are using.
There are many different extensions for domain names, some are country specific and other are to seperate government websites and organisation sites.
